Objectives of
Village Montessori School:
Village Montessori School
is dedicated to the philosophy and methods of education
developed by Maria Montessori. Dr. Montessori’s study of children led to an awareness of the dynamic importance of the
first six years of a child’s life during which intelligence and
character are being formed.
The Montessori
philosophy is based on love for the child and respect for
his/her dignity and worth as a person with the objective of
helping each child develop his/her fullest potential
Characteristics
such as self-confidence, initiative, independence, persistence,
increased curiosity, ability to concentrate and a sense of order
are encouraged.
